Job Title: Sales Engineer
The Role
As the Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in handling sales enquiries, drive existing and new exciting product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business growth.
- Support and grow sales in both our established and expanding product sectors.
- Manage and expand an existing customer base
- Handle customer enquiries
- Evaluate customer requirements – enquiries and drawings.
- Writing technical proposals and quotations
- New business development
- Manage office and administrative activities related to sales operations
- Work closely with internal teams on specifications, quotes, and proposals
- Ensure deadlines, KPIs, and customer expectations are consistently met
- Follow up calls / visits to clients
- Client visits and participate at trade fairs, and industry events
- Help achieve targeted results as a key member of the sales team
About You
This role suits someone who has a technical awareness and enthusiasm for marketing, commercial aptitude, and is methodical with numbers.
- An engineering qualification — HNC/HND, degree, or qualified by experience. Mechanical, manufacturing, or fabrication backgrounds are all relevant
- Experience reading technical drawings, P&IDs, or fabrication specifications
- A grasp of how products are costed and priced — or the appetite to learn quickly
- Confident speaking with clients by telephone and in person
- Strong written communication — proposals, quotations, technical clarifications
- The self-discipline to manage your own pipeline without being micro-managed
- Ideally some exposure to fabrication, pressure vessels, tanks, oil and gas, water treatment, chemical processing, or an adjacent industrial sector

Job Title: Plater / Fabricator
Department: Production
Location: Gainsborough, Britannia Works
Hours of work: Full Time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £15.50 – 18.50 an hour
Role Summary
As part of the team, you will contribute your Plating and Fabrication skills to produce a broad range of specialist, high integrity products. This role will be based in Gainsborough, in an industrial, engineering environment.
Key Capabilities & Responsibilities:
- Capable of cutting, shaping and joining heavy sheet metal.
- Previous experience of Plating/Fabricating to a very high standard.
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- On the job experience in a similar industry is essential.
- Attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a safe and controlled way.
