Job Description

As part of the team, you will contribute your skills to produce a broad range of specialist, high integrity products.
Successful candidates will work as a Semi Skilled operator supporting all our production activities.
Scheduling and Planning:
- Develop and maintain production schedules
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timelines are met
- Organize and attend meetings
Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between different departments, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Distribute schedules, and other relevant information to the production team
Logistics and Resource Management:
- Identify and coordinate equipment, and other resources (including labour) needed for production
- Assist and coordinate training requirements
- Assist and coordinate scheduling of goods in and out, including raw materials and finished goods
- Manage stocks and ensure that all required materials are available
Budgeting:
- Assist in creating and tracking the production budget
- Assist in tracking and reporting of Production KPI’s
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records
- Create and update production schedules and reports
Problem Solving:
- Address and coordinate the resolution of day-to-day production issues as they arise
- Anticipate potential challenges and develop contingency plans
Support for Producers and Directors:
- Assist management, Project leaders and directors in various tasks to ensure smooth production operations
- Act as a point of contact for the production team and other stakeholders
Post-Production Support:
- Coordinate activities related to post-production analysis
Safety and Risk Management:
- Implement safety protocols and procedures on set
- Mitigate risks associated with the production process
A production coordinator’s role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
They are essential in ensuring that a production runs smoothly from pre-production through to post-production.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience working in a similar industry
- Proficient in use of planning/ scheduling software (Microsoft Projects)
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Team player
